About

I’m a former content marketing manager turned full-time writer — a business-minded creative, if you will.

My Brief Backstory + What I Do Now

For a large chunk of my career, I was a one-person content + copywriting team, working in tech startups.

I built content marketing strategies to address whatever our biggest business needs were at the time — awareness, pipeline, retention, whatever — and then fulfilled those strategies myself (#Scrappy #NoBudget).

I also did all of our copywriting as no one knew or cared that content writing and copywriting were different, and I was happy to get to develop skills in both.

Which brought me to my current role: Writer. Because as I came to realize, it was ultimately my writing that was driving the results (and lighting me up).

Now I’m a content writer, copywriter, ghostwriter — I do all the writing a brand needs, in any form, for any stage of the funnel. This does not feel weird or difficult to me (completely the opposite), but I’m consistently told it’s rare and valuable, so I’m telling you.

Work with me to get a lot of exceptional pieces, pages, and promos done with minimal explanation and zero hand-holding.

My Stance on Generative AI

My late-2025 thoughts are, essentially: We would be silly not to use it, and also we would be silly not to mistrust it, heavily scrutinize it, and sometimes dismiss it altogether.

I’ve found ways to 3x my delivery with generative AI, not to mention the ability to rapidly ramp up on new-to-me topics via the mini crash courses I create for myself (one of my favorite AI use cases). But sometimes you just need to stick to your human brain. It’s really a case-by-case thing and I’ve enjoyed developing that instinct. You can feel confident that I’ll make the right call for your brand.

  • I perpetually have a Big Trip on the horizon thanks to a wanderlusting husband.

  • I spend my free time studying psychology, health, and personal development 🤓

  • I feel inexplicably at home among tech bros.

  • I take work seriously but I’m an easy laugh.
